TTYL was developed as part of an initiative during my time at 302, aimed at creating small web-based games that focused on a single mechanic to discover the essence of “finding the fun.” However, TTYL evolved into something much greater. It achieved an impressive 2.0% clickthrough rate during my tenure and engaged over 19,000 players. Remarkably, it even generated some revenue, despite being a free-to-play game.
